How to Check a Used Excavator

Use this on our machines and on anyone else's. We would rather you inspect hard and buy once.

Hours and year
Read the hour meter yourself and ask for the registration and invoice. We show both.
Hydraulics under load
Lift a full bucket, hold it, swing. Watch for drift, slow cycles and heat.
Undercarriage
Measure the track pitch and sprocket wear. Ask what was replaced in the rebuild.
Engine
Cold start. Smoke colour, idle, oil pressure, coolant.
Structure
Boom foot, arm pins, bucket linkage, cab mounts. Fresh paint hides nothing from a magnet and a torch.
Paperwork
Ownership chain, finance clearance, service record. We hand over the rebuild sheet with the machine.

What do you have in stock right now?
Stock changes week to week. Ask on WhatsApp and we send photos, hours, year and price of the units available, usually the same day.
Can I inspect the machine before buying?
Yes, at our yard in Badkhal, Faridabad. Bring your operator. We start it cold and run it under load.
Do you deliver outside Haryana, or export?
We sell across India and export. Transport and export terms are confirmed with you directly for the specific unit and destination.
Is finance available?
Yes, bank finance is available on refurbished machines. The loan is given by the bank, not by TerraMax: we are the seller, and we help you with the paperwork the bank asks for. Approval, rate and amount are decided by the bank.
Will you take my old machine in exchange?
We buy used excavators and backhoe loaders to rebuild. Send photos and details and we quote for it, as a trade-in or an outright purchase.
What does "refurbished" mean at TerraMax?
Every system is inspected and the worn ones are rebuilt before the machine is offered: engine, hydraulics, undercarriage, boom, arm, bucket, cab and electrics. You see the rebuild sheet for the unit.
